We will be gone in 5 weeks from now.

I have been trying to get things sorted here, and tidy up, but I guess the urgency will hit me in a few weeks.

We leave at 11am on the Saturday, 6th December, arriving in San Francisco about 17 hours later, at 10.45am on the Saturday morning.

Jacob and I have found a diner for the big Icecream Banana split thing, the first on his list of things to eat.its about 4 blocks from the Hotel,so that looks like dinner on the first night.

So, over the next 6 days we have the trolley cars, Alcatraz, the naval Museum thing, walks, the Golden Gate Bridge,Fishermans wharf, and some serious winter clothing shopping to get done.. Its going to be cold, and no matter how many merino skivvies I buy, I know we will be hit in the face by the cold.
We also will be seeing Marks Cousin, Doreen

We are literally taking nothing, perhaps jeans,Tshirts and a change of summer clothes for Singapore, on the way home,but buying boots, coats, sweaters, scarves, gloves and hats once we arrive, and by the sounds of it, the sales will be in full swing, to clear their winter gear.

I bought them both their Christmas gifts, the Ipod and the PSP, to get them preloaded and charged and sorted.

They have their bags, and their backpacks , need to sort out chargers, adaptors, and who carries what...
