Its Monday afternoon, the first day of summer, Mark is mowing the garden, and the kids are in the pool.and its hot. about 34 deg celcius.
We packed last night, sort of.
the bags, cameras, chargers, phones, books, paperwork, passports etc are all in bags. There will be a flurry of buying winter clothes when we get there, but it is just too hard to think about being cold, when it is this hot. Marks cousin Doreen lives in San Francisco and is organising her time to catch up with us, which will be good to have the kids meet more family.Insurance is all sorted, up to date, tickets are printed, USB is loaded with copies of passports, all etickets, insurance details, hotel reservations.
4 more days to go.
I am having trouble keeping focussed, but its a huge week ahead with things to do. This morning, the list was at 35 things. I think it is dwindling slowly, down to about 25. cars need serviced, dogs need groomed, pool needed to be treated, lawns mowed, prescriptions picked up for specs, lenses etc and antibiotics, all meds packed , and most importantly LEMSIPS bought.
I have bought a few books, one called the unforgettable traveller I think? some cool links on travelling, so I need to print some stuff off.
More later
