We got the kids to the cable car, and then headed off to find a doctor for Mark, as his flu has got worse.
No doctors in SChampery.. the last one retired 8 months ago, and the cannot get a replacement.. we ended up at a hospital with a 5 hour wait.
so, that was the day
IN the middle I got a call to say Jake was in the Infirmery on the slopes with a sprained wrist, and I had to come and get him.. I could not of course, as I was down the valley at the hospital, so Caro collected Him and Hannah and brought them down to home.
Mark and I finally got back at 4pm, and then Caro and I headed off with the kids for the thermal pools at VALl diaz, but they are closed.
Its going to snow tonight, and into tomorrow, so I cancelled the kids lessons for tomorrow, to get them up to rest a little, and give Jakes arm a rest, and then booked them for the rest of the week. Hannah is going brilliantly on skis, and Jake is really doing well on the snow board. Hopefully we can get them skilled up enough here, whilst we have 10 days, to be able to remember the basics

Damn!! Hope the antibiotics get Mark back on the slopes before it's time to leave! Seems the health system is over worked and poorly staffed all over the world. Fingers crossed Jakey's wrist is okay. Aaahh, the perfect Hot Chocolate..in Switzerland no less! Sending love for a very Happy New Year!

mark should get same sage tea . you have the perfekt sunshine it is not always like that in switzerland hope all gos well and have a happy safe new year miss ouer coffe sessions
