walking this morning

on the back lanes of Hatfield this morning

and the Airpor at Zurich on our way through. Carloine says the alps have had the best snowfalls in 50 years! which excited Mark, and made my blood run cold. Now I have no excuse, he even bought me a knee brace.

Wow.

What a lousy 24 hours.. Hannah was quite sick but is now wel after the worst f it,, have to love lemips and Tylenol flu.Jake is now sneezing but its hard to know if that is allergies from the chlorine in the pool, or the flu on its way

The mix of jetlag, nausea, fatigue and sore muscles all caught up with us today.

I am a little angry.

We stayed last night at the Travel lodge in Hatfield, near Sandras, for a night beofre we moved in to the Motel where we are staying for the next 2 days.

So so tired, I hurt my neck and shoulders sleeping awkwardly, and Hannah had the flu.

So, we were all in bed by 6pm. Hannah and Mark woke at around 4 pm, and went off for a walk, coming back with coffees from McDonalds when it opened.

We packed up, but Mark gave me a neck massage as I couldnt move at all, and took off my beautiful white gold chain he bought me for my birthday, and put it on the bed.

so, we go for a walk, check out, then check into the place we are in now, have a sleep, fill the ids with flu meds, and then go to the indoor heated pool and spa down stairs.

then Sandra arrives, we have to return our hire car, drop the kids with Simon, go and order some Thai for dinner, and went to the Supermarket.

Thats when I realised I didnt have my necklace.

OMG I could have killed them for their absolute lack of interest, all the kept saying was the house keeping is outsourced, no manager on duty, no, nothing logged in the lost and found book we cant check the room, no, we have to come back in the morning.

So, I daresay if their attitude and policies reflect the staff moral code, I am in deep shit.

and I am so angry.

Anyway tomorrow I will take it to the local Police station if I dont get a response from the manager...and I will write to tripadvisor, the travel lodge, lastminute.com. wotif.com. anyone and anything that I can record this event on, I will do it.

Absolute theft. and I am really really annoyed.

OK, thats the first bad thing to go wrong.

and its because I was tired, jetlagged, sore, and didnt do the usual minesweep of the hotel.. and a whole lot of other things, but I am too cranky to list them
