Hannahs Birthday, January 7th

This feels like it has been forever.
Either it was warmer today, or we are getting used to the frostbite
I think we walked about 6 hours today.
We found restaurants and lost them, we found handbags, then couldnt find the shop again, and we found a fabulous ring for me, but it was 2 minutes past 7pm, and the old bat wouldnt serve us!!!!

BUT
Its the nicest thing I have seen, so we may swallow pride and go back tomorrow, if we can ever find it again.Which at this moment in time I doubt. We do have some time on our side though..It is Mark just went down and arranged with Elanor for a late checkout tomorrow night(10 pm, YES!!!!, as our train is at 11.30pm)

Hannah opened presents, and then we had breakfast.. Elenora, provides breakfast, blackcurrent jam, croissants, cheese ham salami, yoghurt, and the best Cafe Lattes. There is this pretty intricate painting on the celing of the breakfast room that is 500 years old, couldnt get it all in one picture discretly though, so here is a fraction

Then , once again, we walked, walked walked, we went to the train station, then followed the canal back. It was raining so we didnt take the Gondola, and Hannah was good with that..
Bought some toasted sandwiches, and came back to the room, where everyone slept a little, then out at 5pm, for dinner.. Finally found a place that had risotto on the menu, that Hannah liked the look of.

It was chinese staff, chinese chef, and pretty basic, with a photo-menu, but lots of Euro/Asia Music, and some funny funny conversations about the other guests, etc.

We forgot to get a cake, even though we had the candles, and by 8pm we surrendered.Everything was closed.. We couldnt find one, so Mark got a piece of chocolate and popped one candle on it. We will get a cake in Sorrento and have a try again there.

I booked an apartment for Sorrento, for 2 nights, and we will see what we like for another week when we get down there.
Its 13 degrees in Sorrento, we need to wash clothes, coats, jeans, polish boots, and get rid of this gypsy look we are growing into..
We need to be able to get out into the country, get to Pompeii, ck our own meals, pack our own lunches, make a coffee at night without paying 4 Euros for it
