view from bike ride
this is a steep hilly town
the Hills of Impruneta, Tuscany, the Dolomides, etc etc.. really really hilly
20 km on the bikes. mostly off, because for each descent, there is a corresponding rises
One particular hill we pushed the bikes up was 2.9km long. I thought we were going to die.

Great sunny day
We managed to take the one road out of Impruneta that led to the heart of hidden Tuscany.. INDUSTRY.
we drove past roadside hookers, blissfully unaware of their actions, until we suddenly thought about why they were whistling and calling out to truck drivers and dressed like African Brittney Spears..Looks like the Albanian girls have been taken over by the African girls.
This was steep, really really really steep
Yes, we showed those kids another side of Italy!
Of course, its now 2 pm, we are starving, nothing is open..
We finally found a place, right next to a factory
As it was, we think it was their staff workers cafeteria, no menus, nothing, she was pretty good, got us bread, Pasta Pomodora and chillis and peppers, chips for the kids, a mozzarella salad for the kids, coke, coffee..
and this was truly the best best pasta
Tomatos and red capsicums cooked with a little chilli

olive oil and garlic, over fresh pasta
then began the long ride/walk/crawl to Impruneta..
Came home, and looked for the nurafen gel for our bums, but its missing.. I think we have some serious soft tissue damage
This was dinner last night
Local Chianti, Risotto with gorganzola and spinach, pizzas for the others, and desserts
