Its Christmas Day

Views from the walk today. It was about 2 deg, cold cold wet air, and now the winds have started so its bitterly cold.

Mark and Sandra, Christmas Day, at Digswell
and all of us sitting down to Lunch..

walking through the fields, and Hannah and Sandra.. Hannah nicked Sandras hat, so you can see how cold it was!

The kids opening their presents, with some makeshift stockings, which were simons walking socks, and Simon and I cooking Lunch on his new super duper cooker.

What a cold but great Christmas Day. We all woke up late, after 9.30am, after a long night of good laughs and drinks..

The kids then opened their gifts, and Simon and I started Lunch.Baked rack of Pork stuffed with Panchetta and herbs, baked potatoes, cauliflower, beans, and baked stuffing

whilst everything was cooking, we went for a brisk, and I mean BRISK walk through the fields.. this was a "wear a hat" day though, its so cold! Walked for about one hour
so, pockets full of Cadbury chocolates, gloves, coats, we headed off trough the freezing mud, I mean fields.
Then Home, and Had Lunch at 3pm, just as dusk set in.
Then Simons Mother and Aunt and Uncle came over for a cup of tea.

And we are right now, washing clothes, to get the mud, from the walk off them.
Tonight will be quiet. We have a lot of packing and organising to do, so we are sorted for Switzerland.
Mandy ,Indianna and the dogs from up the estate just came over to say Goodbye..
