Merry Christmas

Its now 1am at home, 3pm, Christmas eve here.
we are having Christmas with Sandra.
raced out this morning, bought a rack of pork, some pancetta, mozzarella and fresh basil to stuff it, and nibblies. Also bought some beer, some wine, some sticky wine and cocoa for later on.. No one was out shopping. Aldi was dead quiet, so we needn't have rushed, at all, then over to another place TK MAXX a discounted shop, that sells reasonable brands, with racks and racks of gear for sale at markdown prices, and bought 2 merino and cashmere sweaters for me, some stocking stuffers for the kids, and some chocolates, sketch pad for Hannah a DVD for Jake, some woollen scarves, and ge handwarmers for them for skiing.then to the next place for Sandra and finally home. They have all gone rollerblading, and I am sitting here by the Fireplace at Pat and Sonny's with the heater on, looking though the conservatory at a bleak cold day.
Tonight all the neighbors are coming over for drinks when they all finish work. Then on the 26th we fly on to Geneva, to meet Caroline. Just glad to have some light woolen sweaters for layering..Its getting colder now, after some warmer days ..
So have a great Christmas.
Its getting darker now, and wil be dark by 3.30 or 4pm.
