last day in London, then a big Family Dinner

we headed off to the Museum of Science in Kensington, and on the way saw this bizarre smart car covered in AstroTurf..


and walked across Hyde Park, and Past the meorial for Diana, which is pretty sombre and stark on a winters day.

then we spent the next 5 hours in the Science Museum.. The Imax movie of the space shuttle was fantastic! Well worth seeing. We took a photo of this image of the body heat. I am on the far left. I popped a coat over my self as it was quite descriptive of the warmer nether regions

then Mad rush in the traffic back to get our ear through increible crowds, pushed face to face on the tube, changed a few times, and finally back to Kings Cross, in the same over stuffed trains , except this time we had luggage.. Managed to lose one bag, with new boots ands ski socks in it...

Sandra picked us up, and then Tom, her neighbour with a MiniCab took us to Mark and Sandras aunts for dinner.. Aileen and Dave ut on a huge meal of roast turkey with all the trimmings, wines, etc etc, port, and a great night of good laughs.

Also, Aileens best friend is Pat Mann who was from FishPool street, in St Albans at the bottom of the Abbey in St Albans..

Sandra wont take to the 24 hour Tescos to buy the food for Christmas day.its 11.20 pm

we are staying next door in Pat and Sonnys house as they have gone back to their daughters in Surry for the Christmas break.
