we just went to St Tropez with Garry and Sue K for dinner, and had a great night.
Everything is finally finished.
Bags are packed, Taxi will be here at 8 am.
we leave at 11am, for Auckland, then on to San Francisco, landing there at lunchtime Saturday.
SF looks good, 17 deg celcius and sunny, and its going to stay that way all week, which is brilliant!
New York on Thursday is a bit of a different story. snow showers and rain, but looking finer for Friday which is the day I booked the Mother of all walking tours, lets hope it stays that way.
How can the top temp be 0 degrees celcius and the low -1 degree?
I think that will be the rude awakening.
theres plenty of room in the bags, so there will be a bit of a buy up in San Francisco I think.
The kids are excited. Today involved haircuts to try and shake the caveman look, and then just finishing off the garden, Mark lit the fire and they burnt all their school books, and then final running around, as almost everything had been thought of. I have some books to pack for Shonna, and a gift for Travis, that I hope gets through customs...
and thats it.
off to walk around one more time checking its all done..

You bloody dogs!! you are only gone 5 mins and they are on the net arranging a party!!! according to Police and a doggy face book page some 5000 canines are ecpected in Riverdown tonight, PAL and My Dog are already setting up food stands!!! haver a nice trip and don't let this matter make you "barking" mad and please don't hit the rof rof!!!
Oh, have a wonderful trip! Try not to let the US airport system spoil the fun...they are savages. See you NEXT WEEK!
Shonna, Customs and Immigration were fine. They were a little suspicious of me, being a non American with an American Family and questioned my length of time in the country, etc etc, But very very nice about it. I think SF is much gentler than LA aiport, which is just a Cattle processing plant
