New York Saturday 13th December

what a beautiful day!. It didnt get above 0 degrees celcius, and the ice stayed frozen on the puddles in the street and central Park,but the sun shone all day,

we had breakfast with Greg at the diner across the road, then headed over to Central park, and walked down to Wollman skating rink at the southern end of the park, and the kids skated again,

I went on to Rockerfeller centre, to meet Shonna, who was down from Maine for the weekend, and we met up had a coffee and a chat, then Mark and the kids met us there.

5th Avenue was madness walking home, you just did not move for minutes at a time, and people got really pushy and annoyed. Finally we cut through some streets to 4th Avenue to get out of it, and headed up to Central Park to get back on Broadway. Then, the kids saw a Barnes and Noble bookshop, and we spent an hour in there defrosting.

For dinner, we will walk up to Gregs, and take some Pizza, and chill out there for a while.

Tomorow, we were going to go outside the city, but I have managed to organise a last minute trip to Toms River,in south New Jersey, thanks to Laineys son, and we are going to go and meet her family!!! Should be fun
