the shop front of Cartier on 5th Avenue is lit up to look like a huge bow
this sort of gives an idea of the crowd on 5th Avenue last night
Elmo, on 5th Avenue, yesterday.. Chaos , chaos, chaos, and some green guy in the back ground

Last night we went up to Gregs on 96th st, bought the kids dinner, and Greg cooked for us(knowing Greg, it was going to be another 2 hours if the kids waited for him to cook, and they had walked 13 kilometres yesterday,
Not too late, home by 11pm, then up again at 7am..
then this morning, Hannah got her pic taken with one of the police officers, to add to her collection
We caught the bus down to Toms River Early this morning, to see Lainey, her husband Bob, and their family, Rob and Quinn, with little Lilly, and Rayna, and had a great day.
Fantastic food, roast loin of pork stuff with Parma, herbs, and roasted, Baked Ziti, sausage and meatballs in homemade Passato, pumpkin pie, and way too much red wine.
Some good laughs, lots of talking, and a day spent inside chilling out. Rob, brought over the Wii, and the kids had their fix. He also gave them both a huge bag of American Candies and treats, which should last them till the end of the trip!
Just home.
Its warm tonight.. 9 degrees celcius, and tomorrow will be 16, before the rain heads back in in the afternoon.
so, pretty lucky with the weather so far.
minus 3 was a little too cold for us, but we can do anything over 5.
so we think.
So, tomorrow off to the Museum of natural History which everyone says we cannot miss.
