a day around the village, and a haircut

A nothing day..
a walk into the village to organise train trip to Zurich next Saturday pretty much took all morning. I think it may have been easier to just go into Florence to the train station, but never the less, now it is done and we have the ticket.
I found the one and only hairdresser in town.
It was full of old ladies with beehives .
and blue rinses,, talking a hundred miles and hour, and their husbands, then neighbours coming in.
So, the apointment she had for me was changed to this afternoon. Prego.
Thats life.
So, after lunch, and a nap, I went back for a second chance.
This girl starts washing my hair, and calls over the other hairdressers, who all pull at it, rub it between their fingers, and tell me I need "crema" thats conditioner. and also a vigourous scalp tingling thumping, which may have been a massage by another name
OK, Fine. then they examine the colour.. I did a packet colour about a month ago, to cover the regrowth.. They were all unimpressed, as was also one customer covered in black hair dye who came over for a look.
Basically I am Brunetta with Biance bits..
and were not impressed when I said no colour please..
So,
then to the cut.
Seven minutes of chopping,
that was it.
7 minutes in that chair, I know because I texted Mark as I sat down and then texted him when they finished.
And she did a pretty great job.
Nothing like I thought we sign languaged, but definitley her signature cut, regardless of what I asked for.
Then a coffee with Mark, came home, skyped Caroline, and then cooked spagheti Bolognaise for dinner.
Now waching Ratatouille
