I have worn out one pair of boots, which I will throw out, and buy a new pair tomorrow, and the newest pair , that I bought in New York need to go see a cobbler tomorrow, and have new heels and soles .
Its been some serious walking stuff ,
Hannahs legs are as hard as rock, and I doubt she wiould take another step if it was her choice.
The kids have a standing joke that this is an evil plot of mine, to walk walk walk(yes, it is)
Jacob is just losing weight!
We are throwing out clothes, as he has grown taller, so his jeans are too short. Even his Tshirts are getting shorter. Hannah has also grown an inch or 2.

we have lost a few things, left things behind, etc etc, but not too bad, really.
When we leave Europe, we will need to buy one more bag, for all our winter gear, but we are well below our travel allowance weight, about 20 kilos to spare.
Walking today, holding on to Jake, I got his version of the world.
1. Everyone standing in a side alley may be a drug dealer.
2. There are thousands and thousands of pieces of old chewing gum blackened and worn into the footpaths of Naples.
3. Women never ever move off the footpath, but give kids a dirty look if they dont move.
4.all the pavers/cobble stones in Naples were made in maybe 5 factories, as there are only 5 different patterns.
5. M&M's are better than Smarties chocolates
6, The rudest people in the world are 20 year old girls.

Thanks for all the 'art' pics for me! You are surely in my kind of world there with all the art and history- I blame my Dad- he frogmarched us round half of Rome and the like when we were little! Eh, Mark?! Re: Jakes 'world view'- how brilliant! Remember- all Molly could remember about her trip with Simon on the Thames was a dead seagull and that someone had thrown their sandwiches in!
