We have had such a gorgeous day.
Mark is feeling better, so we went to the thermal pools down near Monthey.
Awesome, these fantastic hot pools where you swim from inside to outside, with spa areas, massage areas, an ice room etc.. a fantastic time,I didnt get pics in there, but one leaving..
Then to the Market for food for dinner..
Came home, started cooking a roast, and then it started snowing! we have had about 10 cms, and everything is white again
After dinner, we walked up through town, there was no one in the restaurants and the streets, no where, we ended up in a guest house, with an open fire and had drinks with the kids, who on the way back, had a massive snow fight, that got a bit out of hand, as usual.. especially when the Dads joined in..
Then home for a fiery game of Pictionary, and now waiting to see Midnight
Its still snowing,nope, Oscar just" Merde"d. and apparantly its raining, which means it will be frozen tomorrow morning, as it is going to be minus 9 tonight...

Oh Ruth, you've had a magical New Year! Kahn and I have just been looking at the photo's, and wishing we could transport ourselves there! We loved the youtube video of Jake, he looks like a natural.
The photo of you and Caro is just gorgeous, you look very relaxed. Were the Smith family victorious in the pictionary challenge??

the game was in french, so we were handicapped, then we did adults vs children..
a tough tough night.
The kids are doing brilliantly.
